Moving up, Finally!!!

The Blue & Gold a scouting event that happens every year in February. We started out with a guest speaker and he talked about scouting. Then we had an "All American" dinner of subs and potato salad. Then we had an awards ceremony. Still after that we did skits. Finally we went out side for the moving up ceremony (yes there is a ceremony), then! we  went to eat dessert.

My Bday

Yay I'm 11 now. The day started out as any other day went to Mass in the morning. Then got to a Homeschool day at the History Museum. After that we went to PetCo to get some fish for my present. There names Sparks and Mustang both tetras. Finally we went to Michael's for a cake  pan. When we got home My Mom baked the cake a football cake. My friend Francisco 

ate over (for like the 40th time). We had some stake out of a cook book by the best Bobby Flay.

Then me and Francisco played Need For Speed, a racing game. After an hour we ate the cake and that was the end of the day (no Francisco did not sleep over).

The day of thanks

Thanksgiving Day, we first made green

 bean casserole. Again Riley is making a weird face, this time like a bull. After that we made milk corn instead of creamed corn. Then headed over to our great grandma's house where we always celebrate Thanksgiving. We had lunch right away then everybody started fighting about who got which seat. Ok maybe it wasn't that bad, but we all wanted a seat. Then almost all of us went for a walk. During the walk we stopped at my dads old school. Thats when one my grandpa and grandma's dogs went down the slide by himself.

Sunday we all got up early in the morning to go to my moms race for Maggie's Place. A place for homeless pregnant women. It was a 9k run 3k walk and 300m children's dash. My mom was in the 9k. I was in the 300m. Her time was 48 min. 19 sec. I came in about 6th for my race. Which I  thought was pretty good for starting in the back. After that we went out for bagels. That funny looking kid with the weird face is my sister Riley. 

Contemporary Art

At the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art we were there for a home-school day. You'd be amazed at the art. There was one piece that was as big as all the furniture in your home sewn together, that's what it is. Well, basically the person who made it bought a whole bunch of metal furniture, painted it white and sewed it together. The thing I liked most was one of the 10 glass armonica players in the US. Yah I said Armonica. One of the things Benjamin Franklin invented.
